The film has already released in Tamilnadu for the Pongal as 'Alex Pandian' and is a huge hit there. Producer kE Gnanavelraj hoped this now to be a huge hit even in Telugu as 'Bad Boy'.
Talking on this occasion he said Director Suraj had shown a new angle in Karthi and the scenes between Karthi and villains Suman, Milind Soman would entertain the mass audience a lot. He also said that the Train and Helicopter episodes would stand as highlights. He praised the dedication of Karthi and Anushka for participating in the risky stunts without going for a dupe. He predicted that Karthi would get more closer to Telugu audience with this film.
