CPI former MLA to join Jagan

Now Jagan party started attracting even the communists, after poaching the Congress and the TDP ranks. CPI former MLA Payam Venkateswarlu met YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the Chanchalguda jail on Tuesday. Speaking to the media after the meeting, he has alleged that Jagan was illegally implicated in false cases as per a conspiracy hatched by the Congress and the TDP.

He exuded confidence that people would surely make him the Chief Minister. Stating that the late Chief Minister Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy helped in the development of his constituency when he was an MLA, Venkateswarlu said he would do his best to help Jagan.

He said the welfare schemes introduced by YSR endeared him to the people. Criticizing the TDP, he said the party cheated the people, by not supporting the no-confidence motion.
