Right after ‘Eega’ won two national awards, the team members reacted sharing their happiness. First and foremost Tollywood Jakkanna Rajamouli said he never take any film with awards in mind and never take them seriously. If it gets, happy feelings will come. He said while he was sleeping one of the producers of Bahubali, Sobhu Yarlagadda called and informed about ‘Eega’ national awards. He said he is happy that it got award for VFX. He said many spoke about the awards the moment it was released but said he wasn't bothered. He stated that currently he is concentrating on ‘Bahubali’. He even felt just because of ‘Eega’ won award, Tollywood standard did not improve. He said in his opinion ‘Eega’ is best film in Indian standards.
Producer Suresh Babu said the award is an honour for Tollywood and congratulated Makuta Graphics for the great work. He said earlier his son Rana got award for ‘Bommalaata’ and his dad Ramanaidu's ‘Hope’ got award. He said even his ‘Preminchukundam Ra’ got award. Now that ‘Eega’ got award, he said his entire family got awards. He said the team would have been happier if Sudheep also got national award.
Makuta official said ‘Eega’ showed Hyderabad Power at National level. He said most of the films have only graphics in bits and pieces and this film has total graphics which was a challenge. 50 team members worked for 1 1/2 years and Rajamouli gave creative inputs and encouraged them.
