Election schedule released in Karnataka

Bangalore : Election Commission has finally released the schedule for the Karnataka Assembly elections. The notification would release on April 10th nad there would be a polling happening for a total of 224 Assemblies  said the commissioner.This announcement came in from the Election commission as the tenure of the present Assembly would be closing by 3rd June.

April 17th would be the last date for nominations filing and 18th would be the scrutiny date. April 20th would be the last date for nominations withdrawal and polling would take place on 5th of May and counting happens on 8th informed the EC. They informed that there would be a chance for around a total of 4.18 crore voters to be utilising their right to vote.

EC has informed that 98.6% were issued the voter id cards and polling is  being arranged in around 50,446 centers and also that voting will be carried out only through the EVMs. He said that as the election schedule is out, there would be a strict vigilance now even on the payments in various media houses.
