Hyderabad, March 23: Police said it was a gas cylinder that blasted in the Rajiv Gruhakalpa complex at Vikarabad, RR district on Friday night.
People who were yet to recover from the shock of the Dilsukhnagar blasts were scared when they heard the massive blast. They ran out of their houses in fear, not knowing what happened. A building in which the blast occurred was demolished and four other houses abutting it were also damaged. Two persons died and 13 others were injured. The condition of six of the injured is stated to be serious. They were shifted to Hyderabad for treatment.
Police and explosives experts who reached the spot found that it was due to gas leakage the blast occurred.
