In a surprising move, Telugudesam party has sacked Vijayawada TDP president Vallabhaneni Vamsi from power and appointed Nagul Meera in that place. With Jr NTR's support, Vamsi is playing a key role in Vijayawada politics all these days. In the wake of reports flowing in that he will join with YSR-Congress and various flexi-boards coming up in city featuring Jr NTR on Jagan party's publicity stuff, TDP bosses might have taken this decision. Vamsi's followers felt that some loyalists of Jagan have sent negative signals to Chandrababu about their leader and that is why Naidu stripped him of the post.
However Vamsi stated that he will not join some other party even if a ticket is denied during 2014 elections due to political pressures, but will quit politics and run his own trust.
