It is speculated heavily that Rahul Gandhi is keen on revamping Andhra Pradesh Congress, as the MPs from this state are crucial for UPA to form government at Centre. The revamping will start by changing the PCC Chief and Rahul wants to play sentiment card in selecting the candidate for that post. Former chief of AP Congress, D Srinivas, is a prominent candidate for the post with both being a BC leader and Telangana candidate apart from the fact that Congress has won two times recently in 2004 and 2009 under the leadership of D Srinivas.
However Botsa is ready to sacrifice his minister post if at all Cong retains him as PCC Chief. We have to see what the high-command will do finally as Congress is always known for its last minute surprises.
