The role played by Karthika daughter of Radha in the Malayalam film 'Makara Manju' was well applauded by the audience. She is played the role of dasi. Sources said that Radha, who is well experienced actress in such roles has taken special care in training her daughter to do this role.

Famous Cinematographer Santosh Sivan is playing the main role of this film based on the life story of popular painter Raja Ravi Varma. Karthika, Nitya Menon, Poorna and Mallika Kapoor are playing the other key roles of the film. As all are good actors in the film karthika has a heavy competition.
News is that Radha had shown all the videos of the films having the dasi roles and trained Karthika. Thus is she fit aptly in that role said the unit. It would be seen on screen in a few days as this is being dubbed soon in Telugu also.
