Ram Charan becomes TOOFAN

The Telugu version of Ramcharan’s Bollywood debut film ‘Zanjeer’ has finally got its titled as "TOOFAN" folks. The film which is the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s super hit film, Zanjeer which came in 1973 will be seen in a south Indian flavour this time.

Director Apporva Lakhia tweeted minutes back as Zanjeer in Telugu will officially be called "TOOFAN" hectic, awesome, congrats  . Ram Charan is playing the role of new age Angry Young Man which was originally done by Amitabh Bachchan. Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead. Sanjay Dutt, Srihari, Prakash Raj and Mahie Gill are playing pivotal roles.

While Apporva Lakhia is wielding the megaphone for both the versions, Director Yogi of Chintakayala Ravi fame is supervising the Telugu version to make sure that it reaches out to the masses here. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music, the film is set to be released in May and the first look of this film will be released on 27th of this month.
