Shock from DMK to UPA govt !

There was yet another blow to UPA government. Sri Lanka issue looks like putting an end to the UPA govt now. DMK President Karunanidhi has stated to withdraw the support now to the UPA govt on Tuesday. Before this he had an emergency meeting with senior leaders of his party in Chennai. All the seniors of DMK were present in the meeting. Later they came out with a crucial decision in the meet.

DMK has said to take this decision as they could not get any response from the UPA govt in regard with their demand on the Tamilians issue in Sri Lanka. The members of DMK have become ready to submit their resignations.Five Ministers belonging to DMK have submitted their resignations. Analysts have opined that this would lead UPA govt into more troubles now.

UPA President Sonia Gandhi has given a call to get ready for the general elections. Sonia has called for an emergency meeting on Tuesday at the Parliament Central hall with the Congress Parliament members. PM Manmohan, Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi too were present at the meet. Later Sonia has condemned the massacre of Srilankan Govt on Tamilians.
