A huge birthday cake in the shape of a car was brought to the sets. Knowing the director’s love for cars, the cake was designed specially by SRK keeping in mind his personality. Shetty also uncorked a champagne bottle. To make the day memorable for the director, Rohit Shetty gifted the director an Ed Hardy bike. After pack up at the sets, the cast and crew of ‘Chennai Express’ went to sleep, but Shahrukh knocked on the door of Rohit and asked him to come for a walk. Shahrukh took him into a room where the team of the movie and Rohit’s family were present. SRK planned everything very carefully without leaking the news to the director and none of the unit members informed Rohith about the party.
SRK pulled everyone onto the dance floor. Rohith, who normally wakes up early in the morning, was seen enjoying the party till quite late in the night.SRK gave another surprise to the director. He secretly planned a bash at a hotel and also sent an invitation to Rohith’s family. Rohith Shetty was overwhelmed by the gesture. This is not the first time Shahrukh has gifted bikes for his loved ones. During “RaOne”, SRK gifted a Ducati to Sanjay Dutt for his cameo appearance in the movie.
