Since March 26, more than 20 Telugudesam party MLAs are on a indefinite hunger strike over the power issue. Last night, speaker N Manohar used police force to arrest the MLAs in order to stop them from getting further attention among people as they are fighting against Congress' wicked policies that increased electricity tariff. However after arresting the MLAs, police have shifted them to NIMS hospital for treating their detoriated health. Though the MLAs continued their fasting there, TDP Chief Naidu's wife Bhuvaneswari visited NIMS this morning and offered lemon juice to the MLAs to end the fast as their health condition is deteriorating.
Though TDP MLAs have ended the strike, it looks like the party is not going to leave their agitation on power issue. By amassing the support of other parties, TDP is sure going to bend Congress over the issue it seems.
