TDP MLAs who have been demanding debate on the power shortage, continued to sit in the Assembly even after it was adjourned, following pandemonium. They announced that they would not leave the House until it took up a debate on the power cuts.
However, a large number of policemen descended on the Assembly premises late on Friday night and removed the TDP MLAs squatting in the Assembly hall. They were taken to the NTR Trust Bhavan, their party’s headquarters.
