Hyderabad, March 22: TDP MLAs said the government had no sincerity in solving the power shortage problem.
TDP MLAs who remained in the house even after it was adjourned for the day on Friday, questioned the propriety of adjourning the house, without discussing the power issue. They questioned if there was any other more important issue than it. The MLAs said though it was six days since they started their attempts to raise the issue in the house, the government was not coming forward to discuss it. Stating that they would settle the issue with the government in the house itself, the TDP MLAs stayed back in the Assembly.
They said they planned to stay in the house overnight. The TDP MLAs also charged the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy of inheriting the tradition of corrupt of YSR and Rosaiah.
