Terror lessons in the long-term

It has been exactly one month since the dreadful bomb blasts rocked Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad, killing scores and maiming hundreds. India is the only country where terrorist can target any location freely and even after repeated attacks, the country is till vulnerable.

Hyderabad has always been on the radar of Terror groups ever since the Babri Masjid demolition 20 years back and inspite of many attacks and so much of blood being spilled, there is no long-term strategy to deal with terrorism and this is being played out in the form of violence time and again.

Call it political or bureaucratic negligence, no society can rate itself as developed unless there is assurance of safety and security. And passing softer verdicts after many years like what happened for the accused in Mumbai Bomb blasts, we are giving the terrorists more confidence to attack us with more aggression.
