Thatha Manavudu celebrates four decades

Dasari Narayana Rao who made his debut as director with ‘Thatha Manavudu’ later went on to become one of the industry’s legends renowned as Darsaka Rathna. His debut film completed four decades and on Saturday many top celebrities went to Dasari's house and drowned him in praises. Dasari speaking to media, he said, without strong foundation, one cannot launch skyscrapers but he asked one shouldn't forget the foundations. He recollected how the Producer K.Raghava gave him the opportunity after watching his work as a writer and assistant director.

He said he will only bow before him. Dasari recollected how producer Raghava during that time did not bow to the pressure of distributor to change him as director. He said this is the happy moment for him.

C.Narayana Reddy says, he wrote three songs for the film and Ramesh Naidu's music made highlighted the film. D.Ramanaidu said, after Thatha Manavudu, Dasari made many epics under his banner and praised his dareness to ask whatever he wants. Dasari felicitated the Thatha Manavudu team. Krishnam Raju, Krishna, Vijayanirmala, Jayasudha, Satyanarayana, Manchu Vishnu and Ramakrishna Prasad participated in the function.
