Tollywood traffic to Sandalwood

In the last few years we have seen many south Indian films being bought and remade in Bollywood which resulted in blockbusters. The trend still continues and most of the films were from Tollywood. And now it looks like the same remake trend has picked up in Sandalwood as they are choosing a lot of Tollywood movies.

In the recent past, many big films right from ‘Pokiri’ to ‘Maryada Ramanna’ to ‘Bindaas’ have been remade. Currently, Jr NTR starrer ‘Brindaavanam’ is going for a remake along with Prabhas starrer ‘Darling’. The Kannada film circles mention that the box office potential goes high with these subjects.  

The latest update is that the blockbuster hit ‘Dookudu’ is now being planned for a remake. Sources say the power star of Sandalwood Puneeth Rajkumar has pulled all strings to bag the remake rights and very soon this film will hit the floors. It looks like Tollywood is helping the other industries a lot that way.
