After their inspection of the villages which formed part of the Assembly constituency of IT Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah, three TRS leaders threw a challenge to him to resign if they showed the dried up crops. It might be mentioned here that the minister had declared that he would if even one acre of land had dried up due to water and erratic water supply.
The TRS leaders said that they were prepared to take the minister and show him the dried up crops in various parts of the Telangana region and challenge him to resign as declared by him.
As regarding the state-wide bandh call given by the Left parties, the TRS leaders said they would take a decision about extending support after the meeting of the party’s politburo.
