Telugu filmmakers are ready to experiment and this time with a remake subject. Director Madhura Sreedhar has acquired the remake rights of Bollywood hit 'Vicky Donor' for a huge sum of Rs 30 lakhs. He is planning the remake this bold flick in Telugu with the title 'Dana Karna'.
The story of 'Vicky Donor' is about a jobless guy who donates his sperms which will be used to help the women (who are suffering from infertility) to conceive babies. Hero Siddharth has come forward to play the lead role of sperm donor, but nothing has been finalized yet.
Although several well-wishers have asked him to drop the idea of 'Vicky Donor' remake, Madhura Sreedhar choose to go ahead believing in it's novel plot and light-hearted way of presentation. He even opines it's time to break the misconception that audience in AP are conservative and doesn't encourage such bold content.
Youngsters may relate to the film as due to their stressful jobs, many young couples are approaching the fertility centres these days. Let's see if film lovers here have the big heart to accept such a movie.
