Where is the equality?

India is a country which believes that Gods reside at the place where women are respected. But, the female inequality is pathetic in India. Modernization is increasing and the women are being cheated. In South Asia, India is ahead of only Afghanistan in this matter. It is really insulting to know that situations are better even in Pakistan and Bangladesh than India.

The Rank of India in the matter of Male-Female equality as per the UNDP human development report 2013 from the United Nations is 136. India is considered to be one nation in the world developing fast. Our human resources are renowned worldwide. There is a great name that Indians do work good and clever. The number of women employees in the corporate sector too is rapidly growing.

But we are far behind in the matter of equality for women in the society. The inbuilt feeling feeling that is still many to be wanting only male child and rejecting to have girl child is leading to many consequences. There are still many existing in the society who never step back even to kill the baby in pregnancy if known to be a girl child.

It is become very common to be showing differentiations even in the born child in terms of Son and  daughter. The main reason behind is the myth of dowry. Another reason is the way of thinking by the public.
