The Srinu Vaithla directorial venture has proved out to be a ‘baadshah’ at collection centers too. The movie has already shattered many records and in the forthcoming days, it seems the film is going for some more.
Baadshah First Week Box Office Collection:
Upon its opening day, Baadshah created box office history by collecting Rs9.07 cr on its first day alone in AP while its collections were rocking in international markets too. However the movie dropped outright on its second day and third day gradually collecting Rs3.55 cr and Rs4.75 cr respectively. After having a decent weekend, the film dropped badly on week days and its credit goes to the number of shows being played by the multiplexes. Alone Prasadz multiplex is playing around 40 shows in a day of Baadshah, so resulting it the fact that a majority of movie goers watched the film in its first few days run only.
However the film dropped but the drop wasn’t too big comparative to Sunday and the film did decent business on week days too. Its breakup on weekdays is Rs2.48 cr on Monday, Rs2 cr on Tuesday, Rs1.48 cr on Wednesday and Rs1.50 cr approx on Thursday.
Thus, the total 7 days AP share of the film stands on a fantastic amount of Rs 24.83 cr. Although the film has failed to beat the opening week box office record created by Gabbar Singh yet it has marked the second biggest first week share in AP and best ever for Jr NTR himself.
Baadshah has also done an excellent business in USA where the film collected Rs5.90 cr in its 5 days run, thus beating all previous films except Mahesh Babu’s SVSC. SVSC currently is the highest grossing Telugu film is USA ever and has collected Rs8.75 cr in its lifetime run and Rs6.75 cr in its opening weekend. So, Baadshah couldn’t beat that record till now but it could so in the coming days, as we keep our fingers crossed.
Baadshah also broke highest opening weekend record in Tamilnadu for a Telugu film by collecting Rs58 lacs approx in its opening weekend.
And yes, no need to be sad for Jr NTR fans as the film is going to have fantastic run at box office in the coming days. Baadshah collections in its second weekend are going to boost up due to ‘Ugadi’ and it is currently enjoying a good word of mouth publicly too.

The film has collected around Rs1 cr in Tamilnadu only, 1.5 cr in rest of centers including Karnataka. After including USA collections the total worldwide box office collection of Baadshah is around Rs35 cr, though actual reports from other centers like UK, Australia, UAE etc has not been declared yet.
So, Baadshah first week collection share has summed up to be remarkable for its makers and the film is surely going to stay steady in coming days too.
