The bottle carries unhygienic substance floating in the drink when bought from a store in Gomtinagar locality of Lucknow. This report attains significance in the backdrop of recent controversy over Coca Cola’s plant in China where a bottling plant was found of serving chlorine contaminated drink and the company had to offer apology.
The beverage products have been spotted with similar issues where contaminated bottled of soft drinks were found.

It is to be underlined here that Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd (HCCBPL), a bottling partner of Coca-Cola Company in India, will be investing Rs 600 crore to set up a facility that will make carbonated beverages, juice and fruits-based drinks here.
The company will invest Rs 600 crore in two phases on the project which will come up in 60 acres of land in Vikasnagar tehsil of Dehradun, Uttarakhand government said in a press note.
These contaminated drinks could pose serious health threat and the company is required to pay urgent attention in this regard.
