Yes, buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor’s shameless character in the flick is named after the cola drink. That’s an interesting follow up after the name Barfi (Indian sweetmeat) his character had in director Anurag Basu’s Barfi!.
Incidentally, in real life Ranbir is the face of Pepsi. It’s possible that the makers of Besharam have tied up with the brand for an in-movie promotion. And what better than naming the character itself Pepsi.
Besharam stars Pallavi Sharda opposite Ranbir Kapoor and is scheduled to release on October 2. The film was recently being shot in Chandigarh. On the sets, Ranbir was spotted licking a lollypop.
The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. The two, however, do not play Ranbir’s parents.
