Kadapa MP Jagan and his auditor Vijayasai Reddy filed a memo before CBI special court accusing the CBI of insulting Supreme Court's judgement. They stated that CBI assured SC filing of final charge sheet by March end but failed to do that. Jagan says he got his bail petition rejected because CBI stated earlier that he should not be given bail until a final charge sheet will be filed with respect to seven aspects of his misdoings. As CBI filed charge sheet in only one aspect (Dalmiya Cements', he demanded be given bail immediately and also requested CBI court to consider this fifth charge sheet as final charge sheet.
Political analysts however say that Jagan is suffering from Election Phobia. 'Only if Jagan gets released now, he could amass people and convince them to vote for him by accusing opponents with false allegations. Otherwise if he is released just before elections, there is nothing much he can do with sinking ship, the YSR-C', an analyst felt.
