Siddharth's last outing, Jabardasth failed to reach the audience expectations. This time around, he is back with an action thriller in NH4.Directed by Manimaran, this bilingual stars Ashrita Shetty as the female lead and has hit the screens this week. Let’s see how it is.....
Story :
There is nothing about the story. Prabhu (Siddharth) who comes to Bangalore for his studies and Rikshita (Ashritha Shetty), daughter of Karnataka minister falls in love with him.Siddarth kidnapped her. The Minister entrusts the job of getting his daughter back to an encounter specialist (kay kay Menon) to kill the boys.As Menon starts his investigation he relises that this is not a case of kidnap but siddarth and Arshita are in love and have eloped since Avinash was against this. From here on it is a cat and mouse game between the cop and Siddarth and the field of play is the Bangalore-Chennai highway NH4.

Technical Aspects :
Except for some romantic scenes the came work is just ordinary. If major scenes in the first half could have been edited, the film would have been more crisp. G V Prakash’s music is just mediocre and so is the background score. Only saving grace in the film are its dialogues. Manimaran’s direction is just about OK and it could have been lot better.
Final Word :
A slow first half and not so engaging thrills go against the film completely. Watch this film without any expectations and you would be decently entertained. Not a perfect ride on NH4.
