Lahore/New Delhi: Indian death row prisoner in Pakistan Sarabjit Singh, who was brutally beaten by fellow prisoners in a Kot Lakhpat jail here, has been declared brain dead by the doctors attending him.
According to the sources, doctors are seeking Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur's permission to withdraw the ventilator support of Singh.
As per the sources, Dalbir is returning to India via Wagah border to take advice on whether the life support to her brother should be removed. She would be crossing Wagah at around 2.30 pm today (Tuesday).
