Many are left to wonder why films are releasing on Fridays. In the olden days film makers used to release films on New Moon day as during those days farmers never used to have any work. So they expected them to throng theaters in heavy numbers. However later with many joining other professions and saturday,Sunday turning out to be holiday, they chose Friday as apt day for release.
They felt that with Sat,Sun beind holiday, people will come to see films on fridays. The same principle is followed even now but current generation is too fast and what ever may be the day if students and employees feel like going to films nothing can stop them.
