Sridevi in Tollywood Mega Project

Ace filmmaker Rajamouli is known to be very particular about the actors who he wants to cast in his films. And this time he is thinking of casting none other than glamour diva Sridevi for a pivotal role in his period drama 'Bahubali'.

As per the sources, Sridevi was considered to play the role of mother to Tollywood hunks Prabhas and Rana who will be seen as siblings in the flick. If at all Sri turn downs the offer, the next choice of the makers is beauty queen Sushmita Sen.

Rajamouli is determined to cast a popular actress for the role as it's a character which has a lot of weight and only an experienced actress could pull it off. The director earlier choose yesteryear heroine Bhanupriya for the mother role in Chatrapati and it worked well.

Sources close to the unit say, Sridevi liked the script and her role but demanding a hefty remuneration of over Rs 1 crore. Producer Prasad Devineni confirms the reports and clarifies they are yet to take a call.
