Unfortunately, The film haven't got sufficient number of multiples and single screens in Kollywood due to other straight Tamil releases like 'Settai' (Delhi Belly Tamil remake). When a blockbuster film was dubbed, audience naturally show some curiosity and the same factor generates good openings. Surprisingly, Dookudu's Tamil version received poor response and the film mightn't even recover the dubbing costs. Trade pundits have already declared the flick as disaster.
Mahesh Babu once failed to conquer the Kollywood market. His gangster flick 'Businessman' too was dubbed in Tamil and the result was nothing different from Dookudu. Superstar need to re-think on his strategy rather than following the same track all the time. A straight Tamil film once in a while might bring him close to the Tamil Thambis.
