Zombies and Witches invade Bollywood

Though a lot is spoken about the quality and content in the south cinema, when it comes to experimenting various genres of cinema, Bollywood is still ahead. They also have the advantage of a bigger market so the risk factor is low and that’s what encourages them to try different flavors of cinema.

Now, Bollywood has opened up a new genre and this is all about Zombies and witches. Two films in particular have become the talk of Mumbai cine circles. They are ‘Go Goa Gone’ and ‘Ek Thi Daayan’. While the first is about Zombies and has a big name like Saif Ali Khan in the lead, the second one has Emraan Hashmi in it.

It is heard that many big filmmakers in Mumbai are waiting to see how the audience will receive these two films. If they work well then soon more of such type will be announced and made. It would take a while before something like this is adopted in south but then there are various reasons for that. For now, let us see how the Zombies and Witches work at the box office.
