Congress cadres from Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are busy celebrating the Karnataka win and are praising Megastar Chiranjeevi for the whole happening. Excited MLAs who have won are heard planning to meet the Union Tourism minister to extend their thanks.
Chiru became the star-face of Congress ever since he merged PRP with the ruling party, and is continuing to do big job from them. The other time he is busy campaigning for the battle of Karnataka and his presence attracted many youths and ladies. Many people attended the meetings of Congress in order to get a glimpse of Megastar. We can say that Chiru has succeeded in converting the vote banks of Telugu settlers in Karnataka regions towards Congress party. Though exit polls predicted only 100 seats for Congress, the party crossed the magic figure of 116 and won 120 MLA seats only because of Chiru's campaign, say analysts. Local leaders and high-command are also praising Tollywood's matinee idol for his efforts in getting those crucial 20 seats for Congress.
We have to see how far Chiru will convert all these praises into energy and lead the Congress party in state where rebels like CM Kiran and Jana Reddy always putting an earth for him.
