Satellite is nothing but 'satellite rights' that include airing of a movie on Television and using its content for various programs. Many say that comedy hero Allari Naresh is using them a lot and he should give them up soon.
Guess the recent blockbuster delivered by Allari Naresh and yes you will say it is 'Sudigaadu'. Now guess the biggest hit he is party of before this film happened. No doubt, the list is big to check and it is only Betting Bangaraju that came in 2010 is a big hit for him. In between there are seven movies like Subapradam, Kathi Kantha Rao, Ana Na Pellanta, Seema Tapakai, Madatha Khaja etc. Only Aha Na Pellanta is an average grosser while rest ended as comical disasters. But what saved the producers are the satellite rights paid for these films. With satellite rights, digital content rights and some miniscule box office collections, all these films bailed out producers from crisis. But what is the use of delivering such flop flicks in a row.
Many say that Allari Naresh just focuses on the satellite rights and B, C Collections that push producer out of danger. Maybe time for him to rethink strategies and do some meaningful, successful commercial cinema that gets full profits at Box Office rather depending on satellite rights.
