Cute Andhra Beauty whose disappearance drama couple of weeks earlier created sensation is now landing her into trouble. Kollywood Actor and film director Kalanjiyam whom she accused of harassing her dragged her to court yesterday.
According to sources a Tamil outfit owned by Kalanjiyam fied a defamation case against Anjali in Salem Magistrate Court alleging her of hurting the sentiments of his followers.
Murugan, Secretary of the local unit of Tamizhar Nalam Periyakkam (movement for Tamils welfare),in his petition before Judicial Magistrate II,submitted that the director Kalanjiyam had been working for the welfare of the tamil people and Anjali's remarks hurt the feelings and sentiments of his followers.
He rewuested court to Punish Anjali for defamation under IPC sections 499 and 500 besides 505 (statements conducing to public mischief). The case was posted for hearing on May 13th.Prior to this defamation suite Kalanjiyam personally filed defamation suit agaist ehe actress on April 9th charging her with baseless allegation.
Anjali disappeared last month alleging her Uncle Suri Babu beat her, aunt Bharati Devi and director Kalanjiyam used her as ATM harassing her keeping her under house arrest.
Anjali acted in hit Tamil films Engaeyum Eppothum and Angaadi Theru besides the multi-starrer Telugu movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. She is currently Starring in Raviteja's Balupu and Venkatesh's Bol Bachchan remake.
