From sometime the power politics of Vijayawada city have stayed calm, but with elections advancing, a popular family is fighting with itself internally. The rifts in Devineni family are troubling their followers and here goes the story.
The big wig of Devineni clan, Devineni Nehru is a staunch Congress loyalist but things got suddenly changed with his powerful brother Devineni Baji Prasad looking at Telugudesam party. There developed a right between Devineni brothers and the rifts now extended to their successor. Nehru's son Avinash, and Baji Prasad's son Chandrasekhar are at loggerheads with each other for the sake of grabbing power and support of people.
The other day when a follower of Avinash named Chakri has 'liked' the facebook picture of Chandrasekhar, Avinash and his associates have beaten him up severely. Apparently the facebook shows Chandrasekhar clicked inside Telugudesam office. Chakri complained that Avinash warned him of dire consequences if he supports his brother Chandrasekhar and TDP. The violence has now reached to media and police station, but it looks like khakis are not interested to probe into the matter.
As long as leaders with dirty background become rulers in this way, there is no hope for people about a better policies and governance.
