Hyderabad, May 9: The run in Ram Charan had in Banjara Hills Sunday is turning into a serious problem.
Charan told the media that the software engineers whom he allegedly accosted had apologized to him in writing. He told the media that he was with his wife in the car and had not got down from his vehicle. However, immediately news channels had shown visuals of his getting down from the vehicle and walking. Phanish, one of the techies told English media that there was no truth in Charan’s claim that he had apologized.
Charan claimed his photos were morphed and a photographer had blackmailed him. He was quavering in the press conference and left abruptly, without answering questions of the media.
The complaint of lawyer Rasool to the Human Rights Commission and Telangana Lawyers’ complaint to the police commissioner have complicated the matter. Sri Ranga Rao, of Telangana lawyers association has alleged that the software engineers were threatened not to complain to the police. The episode that looked minor now appears to be turning into a major ‘Racha’ to Chiranjeevi.
