The main reason behind not granting a bail to YS Jagan regarding the disproportionate assets case according to CBI is his ways of threatening key witnesses in the case. Now the investigation agency is saying the same about his auditor too.
Jagan's auditor Vijayasai Reddy's bail is on edge of sword with CBI filing a petition today seeking the cancellation of it. CBI lawyers argued today in Supreme Court that Vijayasai is threatening key witnesses in Jagan's illegal assets case and requested the apex court to cancel the bai given to him. CBI counsel stated that Jagan's auditor was granted a bail by AP high court because Jagan was not arrested by then. The investigation agency also submitted proofs before Court that Vijayasai is threatening the witnesses from companies that have agreed to give their evidence already. Also CBI accused that the investigation is getting delayed only because of Vijayasai and his unnecessary intervention into many aspects.
Though Court adjourned the case to tomorrow for a verdict, it seems like arguments would continue between CBI and Jagan's lawyers. But it looks like things are tough for Jagan's auditor in the near future.
