It is known news that Kajal Agarwal is being considered as the female lead in Pawan Kalyan, Sampath Nandi's film. Kajal too confirmed that they were in talks for the film. However latest buzz says that Kajal may not feature in what is touted to be the sequel to blockbuster Gabbar Singh. Pawan Kalyan and Sarad Marar are jointly producing this film and they are particular about the cost of production.
Despite being the craziest venture, Pawan wants the production costs to be minimal. He is doing this film in profit sharing basis, so he wouldn't take any remuneration for it. Hero's remuneration itself covers one third of the total production cost. So Gabbar Singh 2 will be made at a moderate budget sans Pawan's paycheck. Sampath Nandi is not a hotshot director and he wouldn't charge much. Another biggest paycheck goes to heroine of the film. Pawan wants this to be as low as possible.
But Kajal is in full demand after her recent successes with Tupaki, Nayak and Baadshah. Her remuneration has gone up now and she is not ready to make sacrifices for the sake of starring alongside Pawan Kalyan. She demanded for 1.5 crore for the film and Pawan Kalyan isn't happy with her demands it seems. Hence, the search is on for another heroine. Who would be the lucky one to grab the Gabbar Singh's second edition. Stay tuned.
