New Delhi: Nokia has officially launched the smartphone Lumia 720 in India, adding to Nokia's window smartphones gallery comprising, Lumia 920, 820, 620 and 520 in the Indian market. They are priced between Rs 10,499 to Rs 38,199. Nokia Lumia 720 is available for Rs 17,990.
The specifications of the handset are:
- Powered by 1GHz dual-core CPU
- Runs on Windows Phone 8 OS
- 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen, a Clear Back Display
- 512MB RAM
- 8GB Internal memory, 7GB SkyDrive storage, expandable upto 54Gb via microSD slot
- 6.7MP Carl Zeiss rear camera, 1.3MP front camera
- Connectivity Options: 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC
- 2,000mAh battery
The display of the device is very sensitive and can be operated with gloves on. Lumia 720, a unibody handset can be charged with a wireless charger.
Ravi Kunwar, Director Sales-North said that the consumers can pick an insurance plan on the purchase of any Lumia device. They can pay a premium of Rs 50 to the Finnish multi-national corporation which has tied up with New India Assurance.
