Kamiliniu once sizzled in Telugu and Tamil films and even shared screen space with Universal Hero Kamal Haasan. But things are not alike all the times. Eventually, she disappeared from mainstream films, of late. She was last seen in Nagarjuna-starrer Shirdi Sai and it was a small role. Also the film didn't fare well at the box-office and Kamilni who expected to grab the limelight got disappointed once again.
The latest buzz is that the fade out heroine will soon have a release. Her upcoming film Ramachari is going to release on May 17. Though it is not a big ticket film, it is Kamilni's last hope. Said to be a remake of a hit Malayalam film, Kamilini will be paired opposite Venu. Mani Sharma has scored the music. Meanwhile, Venu himself is desperate for success. Though the chances are very less, let's hope this film will recreate Kamilini's magic.
