A look at the star heroes films in Tollywood gives the feeling that stars are exhibiting negative shades to take their heroism to new levels. In the earlier days there used to be a notion that hero should be good boy. However now both good and bad qualities are highlighted in the hero.
Allu Arjun showed these traits in Arya-2 and even in 100% Love Chaitu showed jealousy and selfishness. Ram turned rowdy in Jagadam. Whether it is Jagadam,Arya-2, Business Man, 100% Love, Billa, Mister Perfect, Julai, all films show negative shades in hero.
In Greeku Veerudu Nagarjuna's character doesn't like human relations and friendship and buzz is Sukumarudu is following the same trend. Even earlier similar films came like the one in Vamsi's Maharsi Raghava. Same in Rajendra Prasad's Minor Raja and for that matter Mohan Babu did many 'rowdy ' roles.
Till it doesn't get monotonous, film makers can goahead with the trend.
