Sources close to the actor say, Kalyan Ram will be releasing 'OM' on his own in Uttarandhra and few other areas in a move to ensure his film gets good number of screens to recover the huge investment. He appears to be confident of scoring a hit this time as 'OM' is under production for about two years.
Reports say, Kalyan Ram isn't satisfied with the price offered by Uttarandhra distributors for 'OM' and so he has decided to take up the challenge of releasing through NTR Arts here.
No one had any clue why Kalyan Ram is prepared to take such huge risk at this crucial juncture of his career. Already, the budget of 'OM' crossed Rs 25 crore which is way too high than his business range. He could have been in a safe zone by selling the entire theatrical rights, but wishes to test his luck as an actor, producer and distributor in this attempt. Hopefully, the huge risk pays off for the struggling hero!
