Q. You did Akshara role in Ramayya vastavayya.. How did it shape up?
A. The movie has shaped up really well. I really wanted to do again with NTR after Brindavanam. DilRaju garu and Harish Shankar provided the oppourtinity .The movie has come out really well .
Q.Did you give green signal to this project without listening the story?
A.No..No..Any movie first I will listen the story and decide whether to do or not. Ramayya vastavayya story narrated by Harish shankar and I liked the Akshara character, so I accepted.
Q. What about NTR and ‘Ramayya Vasthavayya’?
A. NTR in Brindavanam is very different from NTR in Ramayya Vasthavayya. He has a whole new personality. He is looking his best now and I have never seen NTR look so good. He has put in a lot of efforts for this and I am really happy for him. I am also happy that I was part of his best look (Laughs). There are 2 heroines, you consider this also one aspect to see the movie Ramayya Vasthavayya.
Q. You wanted to do commercial movies, is there any reason to do in commercials?
A. last year I did experimental movie Eega and Yeto Vellipoindi manasu. I looked pretty normal in these movies. Every body commented that I will not suit for Glamour roles, that is why I wanted to do commercial movies with Big Heros and Big Budget moives. Again I will do experimental movies. People should think , Samantha will do any character.
Q.Recently you kept a tweet that you will do only good characters..What made you to say like that?
A. I wanted to satisy my self,that’s why I Kept ..even small budget movies are ok.No problem.. I will do
Q. You will get less payment,if you want to do small budget films..!
A.I will reduce my pay, if the story is good and sufficient depth. Recently some low budget moives in Tamil like Pizza and soodu kavvam received good applause from Public. I wanted this trednd should start in Telugu also.If this type of stories come to me I will not demand for remuneration, I will take money from profit.
Q. Which one you select , if you get an oppourtunity in Big and small budget movie at the same time?
A. I’ve taken a conscious decision to not be a part of films where my role is immaterial. I don’t want to be a part of films where the story is in one direction and the heroine is present only for the sake of glamour. I can’t get a ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ or an ‘Eega’ every time, but I want to get the best that I can get out of what is available.
Eega was a budget movie when I accepted, but later it became 25 cr budget Movie.
Q. Can you tell us about your future projects? Any Bollywood plans?
A. I have good roles here. I will be working in more Tamil films next year. I generally don’t speak about my forthcoming projects until I go to the shoot. I don’t have any Bollywood plans right now. I am happy here..But I wanted to Malayalam Movies. Recently I have seen Aamen and Mumbai Police. I listened some stories in Malayalam but not signed any movie.
Q. Are you deeply in love?
A. Yes.. My love is strong, no breakups..( laughs)
Q. Who is that lucky Man?
A. I will not reveal his name.
Q. When is your marraige.. there are rumours that you already get married?
A. I will not hide anything. At present I am in deep love.No marriage right now. Certanily, I will inform you when I get married.. till then let me enjoy my love. He is also open mind like me, he dislikes lies,Our thought process also on the same lines.
