Allari Naresh gets Jr NTR's heroine

Bankable star Allari Naresh is riding high with a spate of offers in his kitty and is close to hit half-century soon. His new film to be directed by Chinni Krishna was formally launched recently and this marks the re-entry of Allari Naresh's home banner into film production.

While the film is expected to take off in January, the team is currently in pre-production phase and hunting for female leads opposite Naresh. Said to be a comic caper, the movie features two heroines. And for one of them, the front runner is Karthika Nair, daughter of yesteryear actress Radha. Apparently, the makers have approached Karthika and she is keen to take up the offer as she has no other films in her hand.

Karthika, who shot to fame with films like Naga Chaitanya's Josh and dubbed film Rangam, has failed to earn the tag of commercial heroine. Her last film Dammu, starring Jr NTR and Trisha tanked at box office and she hasn't signed any film after that. She is pinning hopes on Naresh and hoping that he will change her fortunes. But the past record says, none of Naresh's heroines made it big.
