Born on 16 November, 1981, SS Thaman is a Brahmin Telugu boy, who started his career in film industry with Shankar directed Boys in 2003, as an actor. After doing few cameos in Tamil movies Sindhanai Sei, Ayyanar and Vandhaan Vendhraan, Thaman turned musician in 2008 with Tamil/ Telugu bilingual Sindhanai Sei / Bheebatsam.
Later on Thaman was part of many successful Tamil films and Telugu industry hits, who won Filmfare, SIIMA, Hyderabad Times, Maa Music and TSR TV9 awards for Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu and Businessman in his career.
Recently Thaman opted out of Vishal’s Naan Sigappu Manithan [NSM] , as was lined up with STR’s Vaalu, Arun Vijay’s Deal, Lawrence’s Muni 3: Ganga, Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram, Mahesh’s Aagadu and few more in his kitty.
