"This is my third film with Selva, and our relationship has only grown stronger over the years. 'Varna' was tough because I had to create a new world with a lot of colours. The final output was like a colour palette," Ramji told.
"I thoroughly enjoy my work because each film is different from the other. This one in particular is special because I had the opportunity to learn more about technology. Knowledge never goes waste, does it? Therefore, I was happy being part of the project," said Ramji.
Directed by Selvaraghavan, "Varna" is a love story set against the backdrop of two different worlds.
"Since it's a fantasy story set in an imaginary world, I had to use a lot of colours. The colours in a way reflect the mood of the characters in the film.
PVP Cinema-produced "Varna" features Arya and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. The original version of the film "Irandam Ulagam" is made in Tamil and will also be released in other languages such as Hindi, Georgian, Russian and Turkish.
Ramji had previously been associated with films such as "Click", "Apna Sapna Money Money" and "Supari".
