Finally, It is Telangana with 10 districts

Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has announced finally that after a 3 hour long debate the union cabinet had okeyed only a Telangana with 10 districts including Hyderabad.

The GoM had taken 56 days long exercise to finalize its recommendations on eleven points affecting the Telangana process. The cabinet approved the draft of AP reorganization bill which will be sent to President tomorrow or day after tomorrow with a request to move it under under article 3.

Shinde said on October 3 gave directions to group of ministers on bifurcation process that 10 districts of Telangana to collect information from all stake holders.

It included 18000 emails, discussion with all parties concerned departments, chief minister, deputy CM, cabinet colleagues in union ministry on both sides and recommended to a Telangana of 10 districts and also continuance of article 371-D.

The recommendaton of the GoM for Rayala Telangana was kept aside after strong resistance from union ministers and also other stake holders from Telangana, the cabinet note said.
