The buzz is that the makers of this mega-budget movie have roped in the Hollywood technicians, who have earlier worked in 3D smash-hit Avatar and Promethius. Reports suggest Kalyan Ram wants to add an edge to his plot in Om by adding 3D format in it and make it the first Telugu film in 3D.
Hence, he has hired technicians like David Mike Taylor, Markus and JE Patel, who have worked on movies like Avatar and Prometheus. A source from the production unit says that their visual sense, work discipline and their uncompromising attitude are amazing.
Om is going to be one of big budget movies in Tollywood. Kalyan Ram, who is producing the film under the banner of NTR Arts, is leaving no stone unturned to make it an extravagant project.
He has been shelling out hefty amount on its making. A source from the production house says that he shelled out Rs 13 to Rs 15 crore to hire the Hollywood technicians and they are worth of it.
However, Om is directed by Sunil Reddy. Besides production, Kalyan Ram is playing the male lead in the film. Kriti Kharbanda and Nikesha Patel are playing female leads opposite him.
It is set for a summer release. Talking to leading daily, Kalyan Ram says, "We are setting a trend and laying a roadmap for other filmmakers here. So, we need to go all out and give it our best."
