Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has made it clear that it would initiate action against nine MLAs, who had cast their vote in favor of no-confidence motion tabled by various Opposition parties.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Tuesday, Ministers Kondru Murali and Dr S Sailajanath said the party would not keep quiet and would definitely take action against those nine MLAs. They said the budget was tailored in such a way that it would render justice to all sections of the people in the State.
Welcoming Agriculture Action Plan presented for the first time in the House along with the State Budget-2013-14, they said the government allotted more funds for SC/ST Sub-Plans, Education and Medical sectors. They said all sections of people were happy over the budget introduced by the government. They also alleged that the Opposition parties were criticizing the budget only for the sake of ‘politics’ and asked them to cooperate with the government stopping criticism.
Speaking to the media separately, Congress MLA Mastan Vali said the government allotted Rs 1,027 crores for welfare of the Minorities giving confidence that only Congress government would do justice to them. He said action should be initiated against the nine party MLAs, who cast their vote in favor of no-confidence motion introduced by the Opposition parties few days ago.
