In her long career, she has played NT Rama Rao’s granddaughter in "Badipanthulu" and later went on to romance the superstar in many successful films. To work with Rajnikant, Kamal Hassan, Amitabh, Amol Palekar, Shahrukh, Dilip Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Venketesh, Chiranjeevi, Rajkumar, Salman Khan, Manoj Kumar is a feat that no other actress has achieved.
In 2012, Sridevi returned to films after a 15 year long hiatus with "English Vinglish" and became the only actress in the history of Hindi Cinema to make a highly successful comeback. Sridevi still remains one of the most celebrated actresses in Telugu cinema.
In 2013, Sridevi was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour by the Government of India. She has also been voted 'India's Greatest Actress of All Time' by a CNN-IBN national poll conducted in 2013, winning by a landslide 39% votes. With all these achievements she still regains the title of Female Superstar of Tollywood.
