A criminal case has been booked by the cops against marketing minister Mukesh Goud's son Vikram Goud for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting two businessmen few days back.
A complaint was lodged by Chandrasekhar and Shashikanth against Vikram Goud in reaction to the ill-treatment meted out to them. After the preliminary investigation, Banjara Hills police have registered cases against the accused on Saturday.
Two partners (Karthik and Shivaji Goud) who are having a financial dispute with Chandrasekhar and Shashikanth have approached the minister's son to settle the issue. After abducting the two businessman, Vikram Goud brought them to the minister's Jubilee Hills residence and beaten them, causing severe injuries. In a filmy style, they were given new clothes and sent them to a private hospital for treatment.
Cases have been registered against Vikram Goud and six others under sections 363 (Kidnapping), 342 (Wrongfully confining any person), 324 (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 506 (Criminal intimidation) of the IPC.
